Eva Ward
With more than 20 years of experience in the building industry, she's had the opportunity to see every side of the construction business.
I grew up working alongside my dad in his flooring business, where I learned early on that craftsmanship is about more than just the finished product. It’s about taking pride in your work, treating people with respect, paying attention to the details, and standing behind what you build. Those lessons have stayed with me throughout my career and continue to shape the way I approach every project today.
After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University, I built a career in the construction and building industry, gaining experience in sales, business development, building products, project management, and working alongside builders, contractors, and homeowners. That experience has given me a unique perspective on what it takes to successfully bring a project from an idea to something you can truly be proud of.
At heart, I’m an entrepreneur. I’m passionate about creating a company that combines quality craftsmanship with a better building experience. One that is transparent, efficient, and focused on the people behind each project.
Stone Trace Construction was created from that vision. Whether we’re building a new home, completing an addition, or transforming an existing space, my goal is simple: to bring experience, integrity, and attention to detail to every project and make the process one our clients feel good about from start to finish.
Sean Ward
With more than 20 years of experience in residential construction, I bring a depth of knowledge and hands-on building expertise to every project at Stone Trace Construction. Construction has been part of my life from an early age. My grandfather was a home builder, and I spent my summers and winters throughout high school and college working construction jobs and learning the industry firsthand.
I earned my degree from Longwood University with a concentration in Interior Architecture, where I developed a strong understanding of design and learned to draw and interpret floor plans. Early in my career, I also worked in the wood molding industry, gaining valuable hands-on experience manufacturing many of the trim profiles and architectural details found in homes today.
For more than two decades, I worked with a midsize home builder, beginning my career as an Assistant Project Manager and steadily advancing to Vice President of Construction. As a Project Manager, I was responsible for managing more than 500 new construction homes across a wide range of product types, including single-family homes, luxury townhomes, and condominiums. As Vice President of Construction, I provided leadership and oversight for more than 1,000 additional homes.
That experience has given me an extensive understanding of the entire building process. I understand how all of the individual pieces of a home come together and the importance of quality workmanship, communication, scheduling, and attention to detail throughout every stage of a project.
Today, I bring that experience to Stone Trace Construction with a simple goal: to build quality homes and projects the right way while providing our clients with the knowledge, communication, and confidence they deserve throughout the process.
